Nationwide Repo helps lenders, marine dealers, finance companies, commercial creditors, and private lienholders coordinate asset recovery across the state. Our case managers help with boats, yachts, personal watercraft, engines, and related collateral when the file documents support the assignment.
This collateral is different from a standard vehicle file. The asset may be at a marina, private dock, dry stack facility, ramp, waterfront home, or commercial property. Our role is to help organize the case, collect the key details, and coordinate with local recovery agents when the assignment is ready.

Start Your OrderRecovery for Lenders, Dealers and Private Creditors
A successful file usually starts with clear paperwork and a realistic plan. Access, location, keys, condition, lift needs, transport, and third-party facility rules can all affect how the assignment should be handled.
We work as a repossession management firm, giving clients one point of contact while still using field experience near the asset location. That is especially helpful when the collateral has moved between marinas, private property, coastal areas, inland lakes, or another state.
Collateral We Can Help With
We can review many types and recreational collateral assignments, including:
- Watercrafts and Yachts - Fishing, pontoons, deck, cruisers, center consoles, bay, and larger recreational craft
- Personal Watercraft - Jet Skis, WaveRunners, Sea-Doos, and similar units
- Trailers and Accessories - Separate trailer recovery when the trailer and craft are not together
- Dealer and Finance Files - Dealer paper, lender defaults, secured loans, and lienholder assignments
- Commercial Assets - Small commercial craft, service units, and related equipment
- Private Party Assignments - Individual creditor, private lienholder, and non-bank default situations
What to Send With the Assignment
Complete intake details help the case move faster. Before opening a file, gather as much of the following as possible:
- Debtor name, co-buyer name, current address, prior addresses, phone numbers, employer, and known marina or waterfront connections
- Year, make, model, length, hull identification number, registration number, name, color, engine details, and photos when available
- Trailer year, make, VIN, plate number, condition, and were its located
- Contract documents, security agreement, lien record, bill of sale, note, private agreement, or court order when applicable
- Marina name, slip number, rack number, yard, shop, club, private dock, canal address, ramps, or last known GPS/location notes
- Keys, lock codes, gate notes if legally available, battery condition, engine status, damage, missing parts, or special handling concerns
- Post-recovery instructions for storage, transport, condition report, personal property, documents, release, or buyer transfer
Coastal and Inland Coverage
We support assignments across coastal markets, inland lakes, rivers, and marina communities. Common recovery hubs include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa Bay, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Orlando, and the Keys. Smaller towns and outlying areas can be reviewed case by case.
The location details matter. A unit at a Fort Lauderdale marina may require a different plan than a personal watercraft in a Panhandle yard, a yacht in the Keys, or on private property near an inland lake.
Marina, Yard and Dock Considerations
Third-party locations can involve gate access, facility rules, dockage balances, haul-out needs, or release procedures. Those issues should be disclosed up front so the case can be planned lawfully and without conflict.
If the asset is in the water, on a rack, at a shop, or on private property, we look at access, condition, transport, and personal property before a field attempt is scheduled.
Private Party Marine Assignments
Private party work can be more complicated than bank or dealer files. These cases may involve a private sale, family loan, business dispute, installment agreement, or individual lienholder trying to recover collateral after default.
Before ordering, gather the bill of sale, payment agreement, ownership record, security agreement, lien paperwork, written default history, and messages showing the agreement between the parties.
Not sure if the file is ready? Send what you have and we can review the assignment details.
Request HelpDocumentation and Compliance Notes
Marine collateral can involve state or federal paperwork, lien releases, registration records, tax collector steps, licensing requirements, personal property, marina claims, and transfer documents. We are not a law firm. Clients should verify legal, title, notice, deficiency, redemption, transfer, and sale requirements with their attorney or the proper agency.
If a lender, dealer, or private creditor has a court order, contract documents, security agreement, signed authorization, or other supporting paperwork, include those materials with the assignment intake. Current agency requirements should be confirmed before disposition.
